Overview
Falco dynamics implementing Forest Lake Rejuvenation projects in the Bhandara region of Maharashtra, focusing on the restoration of degraded lakes, wetlands, and traditional Malguzari tanks through scientific and community-based interventions. The project included desilting, removal of invasive aquatic weeds, restoration of natural water channels, strengthening of embankments, wetland habitat improvement, and plantation of native vegetation to enhance ecological balance and biodiversity conservation. The initiative contributed to improved groundwater recharge, water retention capacity, aquatic habitat restoration, and support for migratory birds and wetland-dependent wildlife, while also promoting sustainable livelihood opportunities and long-term ecosystem resilience through active community participation.

The Result
